About the Role
The Senior Data Analyst supports leaders across Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, and Account Management. Focus areas include exploratory analytics, defining performance metrics, identifying growth opportunities, and simplifying how the business is measured.
This role will work with executives to shape measurement strategies that improve forecasting accuracy by combining technical expertise with business acumen to turn complex data into actionable insights. It requires a strong collaborator who can work closely with functional teams and data engineering, and communicate clearly and confidently with both executives and cross-functional leadership.
How you’ll Contribute:
- Lead exploratory analysis to uncover business problems, performance gaps, and growth opportunities
- Analyze CRM data (contacts, accounts, deals, contracts) to support GTM strategy and performance tracking
- Define and maintain unit economics models spanning Sales, Marketing, Account Management, and Professional Services
- Build clear, concise, and actionable dashboards and ad hoc reports for stakeholders across the organization
- Partner with CFO to automate and improve revenue tracking across time periods
- Develop simple, executive-facing dashboards to track department performance weekly, monthly, and quarterly
- Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and deep investigation
Use Python and Jupyter (or equivalent tools) for data transformations and advanced custom analysis - Collaborate with Data Engineering to improve infrastructure and ensure data quality
- Provide insights to:
- Professional Services: service efficiency, on-time delivery, margin improvement
- Account Management/Growth: retention, account health, SKU and cross-sell analysis, expansion opportunities
- Sales: week-over-week performance, quota and plan attainment, funnel analysis, pipeline velocity
- Marketing: top-of-funnel performance, variance, clustering, correlation, and industry benchmark analysis
Who you are:
- 5+ years of experience in analytics or business intelligence, with a focus on B2B GTM operations and CRM data (HubSpot, Salesforce)
Strong SQL skills and familiarity with modern data tools (Domo, Hex, Redshift, Jupyter) - Familiarity with Python (or similar) for advanced analysis and data science workflows
- Experience supporting business teams, including with data-driven insights that influence strategy
- Proven ability to break down complex data into clear, actionable insights for business leaders
- Strong executive presence with excellent communication skills; able to simplify complex topics into concise, meaningful summaries
- Curiosity or experience in building with AI or NLP analysis is a plus
