About the Role

We're looking for a Product & Growth Data Analyst to join our Data team, reporting directly to the Head of Analytics. In this role, you'll transform our data into strategic insights that drive product decisions, marketing effectiveness, and business growth. With an analytical mindset, you'll build powerful dashboards and metrics frameworks that illuminate user behavior patterns, acquisition channels, and conversion funnels while providing actionable intelligence across the organization.

This high-impact role sits at the intersection of product analytics and growth marketing. You'll own our metrics architecture, produce in-depth analyses, and find innovative ways to communicate insights to stakeholders across the organization. You'll have the unique opportunity to collaborate with our AI researchers, software engineers, marketing team, and leadership to translate complex data into compelling narratives that guide both product evolution and go-to-market strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Product Analytics

  • Develop comprehensive analytics strategies to extract meaningful insights from product usage data
  • Define, implement, and maintain key product metrics that accurately measure user engagement, feature adoption, and overall product health
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of user journeys, identifying friction points and opportunities for product enhancement
  • Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests to measure the impact of product changes and guide feature prioritization

Growth & Marketing Analytics

  • Build acquisition, activation, retention, referral, and revenue metrics framework to optimize the full user lifecycle
  • Analyze marketing channel performance and attribution to inform customer acquisition strategy
  • Identify cohort behaviors and conversion patterns to improve self-serve adoption
  • Create performance dashboards for marketing campaigns and growth initiatives

Technical Implementation

  • Build and optimize data models using dbt and BigQuery to ensure efficient and reliable data processing
  • Design interactive Hex dashboards that visualize both product and marketing performance
  • Ensure proper event tracking and data collection across the user journey
  • Maintain data quality standards and governance practices

Cross-functional Impact

  • Transform complex data into compelling narratives that influence product and marketing decisions
  • Partner with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure data-driven decision making
  • Democratize data access through self-service analytics tools and documentation
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities through data exploration

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in product analytics, growth analytics, or data science roles
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for complex data analysis
  • Experience with data visualization tools (preferably Hex)
  • Understanding of both product and marketing metrics that drive business value
  • Ability to translate business questions into analytical frameworks
  • Experience with dbt and BigQuery preferred
  • Familiarity with the developer tools space a plus
