Position Summary
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist with Auld & White, you’ll work to support our recruitment efforts across our office and field roles. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you’ll be responsible for developing innovative sourcing strategies, engaging with candidates, and promoting AWC as an employer of choice. From crafting compelling job postings to coordinating seamless interview processes, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring we attract and retain top talent that aligns with our values and mission.
Position Description
- Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates for various roles, including craftspeople, field supervision, administrative, and leadership positions.
- Leverage job boards, social media, networking, and other channels to identify and engage with top talent.
- Focus efforts to source passive candidates, focusing on building and maintaining a talent pipeline for specialized roles.
- Screen candidates by reviewing resumes, job applications, and performing initial telephone interviews.
- Coordinate candidate interview schedules, including virtual and in-person logistics, travel arrangements, and on-site support to ensure a smooth process.
- Maintain strong working relationships with candidates during and after the recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience and fostering long-term connections.
- Promote AWC as an employer of choice by showcasing our culture, values, and opportunities through job postings, career events, and online presence.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Prepare and analyze recruitment metrics and reports.
- Support related HR Department initiatives that support recruitment, employee engagement, or retention efforts
Position Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in recruiting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline preferred.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- A proactive and results-driven mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
