Position Summary

The Graphic Design Specialist is a newly created role within AWC’s growing Marketing team. It focuses on three core areas: proposal and print design, video production and graphics, and photography. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role will create compelling visual content that helps win work, strengthens our brand, and tells our story across proposals, presentations, social media, and our websites.

We see AI as a tool that enhances a designer’s creativity and capabilities rather than replacing them. We’re looking for someone who can use these tools to explore more creative directions, speed up production, and focus on the decisions that make our brand distinct. This position works primarily in the office, with time spent on jobsites and at events as needed.

Position Description

  • Design and produce RFP/RFQ proposals, presentations, and capability materials that reflect AWC’s brand identity and support business development
  • Create graphics and produce engaging, dynamic video content, including shooting and editing short-form and social media video
  • Plan, shoot, and edit photography and video of staff, projects, jobsites, and events for use in marketing materials and social media
  • Design brochures, flyers, advertisements, and other marketing collateral for print and digital channels
  • Design vehicle wraps, signage, event medals, awards, and other branded materials
  • Maintain company and project websites, ensuring content and branding remain current and consistent
  • Serve as AWC’s brand champion, owning the visual identity and ensuring consistency across all internal and external marketing materials
  • Coordinate with vendors for printing, signage, and production services as needed

What You’ll Bring

  • 5–7 years of professional design experience, including brand identity work
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating brand identity work, ideally including proposals or B2B marketing materials
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Video production experience, including shooting, editing, and producing dynamic, engaging content
  • Photography experience capturing candid team moments and architectural subjects, with an understanding of light, shade, and shadow
  • Openness to using AI tools to strengthen design, photography, and video work, with the judgment to know when they improve the result and when they don’t
  • Motion graphics experience in Premiere Pro or After Effects is a plus
