What You’ll Do

Each rotation offers different on-the-job learning experiences and you will also benefit from a central training program. Over the two-year program we expect that you will:

  • Collaborate with senior engineers on power system modelling and simulation
  • Analyse system performance and conduct incident reviews to identify risks and trends
  • Develop and maintain software tools to automate technical studies
  • Create technical reports and documentation that inform real-world decisions
  • Contribute to cutting-edge projects shaping Australia’s energy future
  • Build relationships with industry experts and stakeholders across the sector

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking curious, driven graduates with:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering (graduating before February 2027)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • A passion for learning and applying grid connection technologies
  • Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Full working rights in Australia for the duration of the program
