What You’ll Do
The Business Development APAC Spring (January - April) Intern will be trained in the nuts and bolts of the brand licensing business. You'll be mentored by experienced internal leaders who will advise and help you succeed and develop exceptional business acumen. You will be trained and assist in generating new business by identifying and qualifying leads to join Authentic's global network of licensing partners in the wholesale, retail, and online marketplace sectors. From identifying target licensing partners and executing top-notch qualification tactics, you will gain 360-degree knowledge of expanding Authentic's partnership universe.
What you’ll be working on
- Research market to identify potential business opportunities in APAC region.
- Facilitate collection of specific pitch deck needs and coordinate deck editing and preparation with in-house creative.
- Organize brand materials for incorporation into pitches and presentations.
- Collect and compile data and copy for sales meetings and presentations.
- Support implementation of new and ongoing sales efforts for BD team.
Must Haves
- Currently enrolled university student.
- Able to work up to 20 hours per week
- Able to work onsite in our Shanghai office
- Willingness to get your hands dirty and make things happen.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortability in a high-paced, collaborative environment
- Detail oriented
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and G Suite
- Process-driven and constantly looking for ways to streamline and simplify complex tasks
