What You’ll Do

The Senior Accounts Payable Accountant will join our rapidly growing Finance team and report to the Director, AP. You’ll manage all incoming invoices and will be responsible for the full cycle accounts payable process. You’ll interact with internal and external business partners to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and processes are running efficiently.

What you’ll be working on

  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and monthly statements
  • Validate invoice to ensure accurate amount, period, and amount. Ensure invoices have the proper approval from department and obtain supporting documentation.  Marketing and other invoices should follow PO approval process.
  • Bank reconciliation for 50+ cash accounts
  • Monthly intercompany reconciliation
  • Responsible for Ramp card reconciliation (coding, PO tracking, Oracle syncing) for 1000+expenses per month
  • Coordinate with vendor for any invoice discrepancy
  • Assist with month-end close processes including accrual journals and monthly analysis
  • Assist in preparing and executing payment runs
  • Assist Director on adhoc projects
  • Manage staff to ensure invoices are processed timely and are properly approved

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a finance/business background
  • Experience with AP month end processes including BOA bank reconciliation and intercompany reconciliations
  • At least 3+ years of experience in Management Role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle/NetSuite
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to be a strong business partner with both internal and external parties
  • Flexible availability for month end and ad-hoc projects

 

Primary Location Salary Range:

$80,000 - $92,500
