What You’ll Do

We are looking for an experienced creative to support on the ideation, production, and delivery of creative assets for all partnerships associated with the Shaquille O’Neal brand. The main responsibility is to drive creative ideation and content execution to support the Shaquille O’Neal brand and associated brand partnerships. This role will report to and partner with Authentic’s Senior Vice President, Creative and work alongside the Jersey Legends Productions team and Shaq Brand team to develop ideas and manage the delivery of content across multiple social media and brand partner channels. The role requires the ability to work across verticals, mediums, and platforms while maintaining a clear point of view and strong sense of brand presence. The range of brand partnerships this role will work on varies from sport, food & beverage, apparel, and media.

The responsibilities with this role, ensure effective management of the creative process, and foster strong collaboration, both internally and externally and with talent. It is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in a dynamic, creative, entrepreneurial environment and exposed to a wide range of exciting and diverse opportunities to develop.



What You’ll Be Working On

  • Maintain a best-in-class creative standard; the Creative Lead will facilitate processes for ideation and content creation with the team and externally with partners, to control the quality of production and asset development, to ensure continuity and elevation of all work in line with the Shaquille O’Neal brand
  • Working closely with the SVP Creative, Jersey Legends Productions, Shaq Brand team and brand partners to deliver great creative in terms of look and feel, art direction, retouching, and overall monitoring the output of all content
  • Work closely with the Brand and Marketing and wider Creative teams to shape and ideate concepts for social media and commercial/ brand campaigns, helping to translate ideas into effective 360 campaigns
  • Bring knowledge of current and future trends in relevant categories such as photography, fashion, and lifestyle. Keeping abreast of global market perspectives and social media techniques and executions
  • Become a trusted resource to work alongside talent on set, with partners, and with Authentic’s internal stakeholders to ensure that brand standards are upheld, quality content is delivered, and the brand creative continues to evolve
  • Develop a network of high-level creatives including editors, script writers, DOPs etc. who can collaborate with us, to bring fresh thinking and constant elevation of what we do and how we do it



Must Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in a Creative Lead or similar role.
  • Creative: Must be an ideas person–have lots of them, and be able to shape them into creative content, based on our brand and brand partners’ needs
  • Experienced: Experience of art directing within an advertising/creative agency with some high-level editorial experience within fashion, sport and lifestyle
  • Collaborative: A true collaborator who is able to take and give direction to meet the talent, brand, partner, and business needs
  • Strategic: Ability to identify objectives and shape strong and exciting creative ideas - based on brand and partner parameters, team member input, existing brand DNA/content and external trends and context
  • Informed: Lead projects with a strong knowledge and understanding of references, research and current and past trends
  • Well-Rounded: Brings good experience working across a range of genres, social media projects, scripts, film and photography
  • Flexible: Able to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities without compromising the quality of output
  • Experience with retouching and video editing a plus
  • Experience in fast turnaround content environment (e.g. social media content)
  • Technical proficiency in design applications / BA or equivalent in Graphic Design / Adobe Creative Suite

 

Primary Location Salary Range:

$70,000 - $80,000
