What You’ll Do
We are seeking a Digital Product Summer Intern (June - August) to support our digital product initiatives as we identify opportunities, develop digital solutions, and grow our digital products. This is a consumer centric role, working to translate the needs of the consumer into online business opportunities. You’ll learn how digital products play a key role in merchandising, site conversion, and other areas of the purchase journey. You will be working directly with the Director of Digital Product
What you’ll be working on
- Support Product Development: Assist in the creation and maintenance of digital product roadmaps for eCommerce retail sites, helping prioritize features based on customer needs, business objectives, and market trends.
- Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work with product managers, designers, developers, and marketing teams to ensure digital product enhancements align with business goals and deliver value to customers
- Site Optimization: Assist in analyzing site performance, user behavior, and key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement in usability, speed, and conversion rates
- Customer Experience Research: Conduct user research, review customer feedback, and analyze competitors to identify trends and insights to inform product decisions
- Content Management: Support the team in managing product listings, content updates, and digital merchandising across eCommerce platforms
- Test and Quality Assurance: Assist with testing new features, bug fixes, and updates to ensure they align with the brand's standards and provide a seamless user experience
- Data Analysis: Help with tracking KPIs, preparing reports, and analyzing data to measure the success of product initiatives and identify areas for further optimization
Must Haves
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Digital, Computer Science, UX Design, or a related field.
- Passion for digital products, eCommerce, and the online retail space.
- Strong ability to analyze data and generate insights to drive decisions. Familiarity with Google Analytics, Excel, or similar tools is a plus.
- Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, etc.) and familiarity with CMS (Content Management Systems) is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to spot inconsistencies, test cases, and ensure product features are implemented accurately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Creative and solution-oriented with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Location Salary Range:
The hourly rate for an undergraduate student intern in New York is $18
The hourly rate for a graduate student intern in New York is $22
