What You’ll Do
The Director, Collaborations EMEAI is responsible for developing and executing strategies for expanding ABG’s partnership base, increasing the footprint of the company’s brands globally and ultimately delivering top-line revenue for the organization. This role is responsible for developing strategic collaborations with KPI’s specific to each brand and for developing the communication process to internal stakeholders. The Director, Collaborations EMEAI is accountable for driving and executing breakthrough initiatives that move the needle towards the individual goals of each brand. This individual will work cross functionally with the internal stakeholders including Marketing, Brand, Business Development, Digital, Creative, and PR to build and execute 360-degree collaboration programs. This position will liaise regularly with internal and external partners to assure that collaboration and partnership goals are being met and that they support key sales and brand initiatives. This position will have a strong focus on the Authentic Lifestyle brands, however could work across the Entertainment brand portfolio as business need arises.
What you’ll be working on
- Research the market and identify new Fashion Lifestyle collaboration partners that map to your brand portfolio and meet overall goals and financial targets
- Identify target contacts and decision makers inside target companies and establish contact via cold calling, email outreach, and other means, as necessary
- Build and manage a successful collaborations pipeline
- In conjunction with leadership set annual collaboration and partnership strategy tied to overall brand goals and annual financial targets
- In corporation with the Business Development team, develop collaboration and brand partnership business structure, negotiate terms, and see deals through to completion
- Continually drive prospects into leads through high-volume outbound sales activity
- In conjunction with Marketing, develop collaboration and brand partnership activation plans tied to overall brand marketing strategy
- Identify seasonal collaboration needs by brand; make recommendations and present these findings to key stakeholders
- Assemble detailed term sheets with concise business terms
- Work closely with legal to draft licensing agreements
- Track sales activity in CRM consistently and accurately
- Formally report collaboration and brand partnership progress in weekly meetings
- Prepare reports and presentations of sales performance as needed
- Responsible for quota attainment in assigned business pillar
Must Haves
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or related field preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in fashion, consumer products, creative agency, marketing, retail, or related field, dealing heavily with multiple successful collaborations
- Resourceful team player with high energy and a passion for product, entertainment, trends, fashion, culture, and marketing
- Enthusiastic, high-energy professional with a can-do attitude
- Highly motived self-starter with a passion for the brand and entertainment spaces
- Ability to operate with a high level of autonomy and to manage expectations at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey ideas and present their work with ease both written and orally
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines while tackling challenges head-on and adapting to shifting priorities
- Accomplished time and attention manager, with strong organizational & prioritization skills
- Ability to self-manage and follow through to ably meet multiple, concurrent deadlines
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
