What You’ll Do
As Director, Brand Management working within the entertainment division, this role is primarily focused on the David Beckham Brand & will be based in London alongside a multi-disciplinary team focused on delivering for both our business and our partners.
We are a small team, so collaboration and supporting other members of the company is critical, as is someone who can embrace the entrepreneurial spirit of the business and constantly push for creative and relationship excellence.
Through the scale of DB owned channels, we are uniquely positioned to create significant value for our partners globally through smart and innovative content distribution, and scheduling and understanding the wider social landscape is key. Whilst this role will be supported heavily by the communications and social media teams, an understanding of the impact of media and how to maximise all opportunities is critical.
The David Beckham Brand is unique in its variety and scale, and its partners include Adidas, Sands Hotel Group, Tudor watches, EA Sports, Pepsi, Safilo Eyewear, and Coty fragrances. Some of these partnerships are more traditional endorsements, and others are joint ventures with global blue-chip companies, and as such, we are heavily involved in the strategy & overall business plans.
What you’ll be working on
- Support the Partnerships Team Leaders on the day-to-day delivery across many global partners playing a pivotal role in planning, scheduling, and logistics of all contract deliverables;
- Playing a leading role and pushing the business partners to go above and beyond in how they bring the partnerships to life
- Proactive communications across all partner activities, including the appropriate communication tracking both internally and externally;
- Foster and manage relationships with designated partners and stakeholders; developing solid relationships, constantly striving for excellence and improvement of communication and service levels;
- Point of contact with agencies across each of the stakeholders. Working with other agency disciplines is critical, and at all times representing David Beckham professionally and collaboratively;
- Liaise closely with DBVL Creative, Digital, and Marketing and Communication teams to ensure strong collaboration and elevation of all commercial and media activities to fulfil the partnership deliverables.
Must Haves
- 10+ years of previous experience at a brand, rights holder, and agency;
- Demonstrate ability to think creatively and objectively across many partners;
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of managing contract deliverables;
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written,
- Excellent attention to detail and organization with strong project management skills;
- Proven track record in developing strong client relationships;
- Complete discretion, positive attitude, and proactive approach;
- Flexible mindset regarding the requirements of the role; availability, and accessibility;
- Proactive and ability to self-manage and multi-task;
- Interest in global key influencers & brand activity;
- Willingness & ability to travel internationally;
- Competent computer proficiency and working knowledge of MS Office.(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
