What You'll Do
As a Sales Specialist, you will be immersed in Authentic’s Live events and experiences business which includes sponsorships, partnerships, hospitality, production, and event logistics. You'll be mentored by experienced internal leaders who will advise and help you succeed and develop exceptional business acumen. As a Sales Specialist, you will be trained and assist in generating sponsorship sales, hospitality sales, event development, and more. You will receive organizational support in driving prospecting efforts through lead generation tools and collaborating with our teams. From identifying partners and executing top-notch qualification tactics, you will gain 360-degree knowledge of expanding Authentic's global events and hospitality business. You will work closely with Brand Managers and Business Development executives to identify business growth opportunities. Your goal is to contact and present a compelling value proposition to target decision-makers and convert those prospects to leads through Authentic's qualification process. You must love the thrill of the hunt and possess a strong focus on business opportunities and sales.
What you'll be working on:
- Identify and qualify leads within sponsorship sales, hospitality sales, event development, and production.
- Understand each brand's value proposition in the Authentic portfolio and mold that into a compelling pitch to prospects.
- Develop, present, and hand-over qualified leads to Authentic Live Global Partnerships team
- Oversee Pipeline trackers to ensure Authentic Live partners are aware of sales progress
- Grow Authentic's partner database through continuous research, identification, and outreach to the licensing marketplace
- Achieve target KPI's including qualified lead goals, target pipeline contribution, and outbound activity
- Lead generating & CRM management
- Support Sales Team with detailed note taking and organization
- Build proposals & bridge gap from time of agreement of deliverables to execution of experience
- Assist in calendaring meetings for EVP and general team sessions, and other light administrative support
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or related field preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point
- Understanding of sales methodologies (value selling, target account selling, solutions selling, strategic selling)
- Flexibility to travel as needed to Authentic Live events
- Ability to thrive and work fast in a competitive environment
- Ability to assess business opportunities and use data to inform decision making and persuade others
- Ambitious and result-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Ability to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
Primary Location Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000
