What You’ll Do

This role will report into the Digital Designer. 

  • Assist in designing digital assets for websites, email campaigns, and marketing initiatives
  • Support the creation of social media graphics, banners, and promotional content
  • Help maintain brand consistency across all digital touchpoints
  • Prepare and organize design files for handoff to internal teams
  • Make updates and revisions to existing assets based on feedback
  • Participate in team critiques and creative reviews
  • Stay current on design trends and emerging digital tools

 

What you’ll be working on

  • Assisting in the design of digital assets for websites, including banners, landing pages, and promotional updates
  • Creating graphics for email campaigns, social media, and marketing initiatives
  • Supporting the team in maintaining brand consistency across all digital touchpoints
  • Making updates and revisions to existing designs based on feedback
  • Preparing and organizing design files for handoff to developers or marketing teams
  • Participating in team meetings, design critiques, and brainstorming sessions
  • Learning and applying basic UX/UI principles to improve user experience
  • Conducting light research on design trends, competitors, and inspiration
  • Supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Exploring and experimenting with new tools and technologies, including AI, as part of the design process

 

Must Haves:

  • Currently enrolled university student.
  • Available to work up to 20 hours per week.
  • Able to work onsite in our NYC office.
  • Willingness to get your hands dirty and make things happen.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortability in a high-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign required)
  • Basic understanding of layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
  • Familiarity with AI tools and workflows is a plus, but not required
  • Portfolio showcasing digital, web, or marketing design work (academic or personal projects accepted)

  • An introduction to performance-driven design thinking, including testing and optimization
  • Experience exploring emerging tools and workflows, including AI-assisted design

 

 

Primary Location Salary Range:

The hourly rate for an undergraduate student intern in New York, NY, is $18.
The hourly rate for a graduate student intern in New York, NY, is $22.
