What You’ll Do
You will support the brand management, partnerships, and licensing efforts across Authentic’s sports-driven entertainment portfolio, with a particular focus on the Sports Illustrated, Muhammad Ali, and Greg Norman businesses. Based in Authentic’s New York headquarters, you will assist the team in executing initiatives that help grow these iconic brands while gaining exposure to the business world at the intersection of sports, lifestyle, and culture.
In this role, you will help the team manage day-to-day brand activities, support partner relationships, and contribute to projects spanning consumer products, apparel & fashion, digital ventures, content & media, events & experiences, and hospitality. This internship will provide hands-on experience in brand management, licensing, and partnership development within a global entertainment and brand platform.
What you’ll be working on
- Support the Sports & Media brand team with day-to-day brand management tasks and project coordination
- Assist with research and analysis related to brand partnerships, licensing opportunities, and market trends in sports, fashion, and entertainment
- Help track and organize partnership activity, deliverables, and internal updates across multiple brand initiatives
- Assist with preparing materials such as meeting recaps, pitch materials, and reports for internal and partner meetings
- Support the team in monitoring brand consistency across partner channels, marketing materials, and product launches
- Help coordinate cross-functional communication with internal teams including brand, creative, marketing, legal, and finance
- Assist with organizing information related to licensees, partnerships, and collaboration programs
- Support research and brainstorming for potential new partnership or collaboration opportunities
- Help track key metrics, partner updates, and project timelines
- Provide general administrative and operational support for the team as needed
Must Haves:
- Currently enrolled university student.
- Available to work up to 20 hours per week.
- Able to work onsite in our NYC office.
- Willingness to get your hands dirty and make things happen.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortability in a high-paced, collaborative environment.
- Detail oriented
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and G Suite.
- Process-driven and constantly looking for ways to streamline and simplify complex tasks.
Primary Location Salary Range:
The hourly rate for an undergraduate student intern in New York is $18
The hourly rate for a graduate student intern in New York is $22
