What You'll Do
Authentic is seeking an organized, detail-oriented and proactive Coordinator to join its Corporate Communications team with a focus on social media and content. This role will support the Senior Manager of Content in planning, curating and coordinating content across Authentic's owned channels, including the weekly newsletter, Instagram, LinkedIn, the corporate website and executive platforms.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can manage multiple channels, events and deadlines at once while maintaining consistent communication with team leaders. This person will be comfortable working within a collaborative review process, taking ownership of their role in each project and moving work forward independently when appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Manager of Content in developing and maintaining integrated editorial calendars across Authentic's owned channels.
- Coordinate content for the company's weekly newsletter, corporate website, Instagram, LinkedIn, additional social platforms and executive channels.
- Gather, organize and manage high volumes of photo, video, copy and other content assets from across the business and Authentic's portfolio of brands.
- Build and maintain clear, well-organized project folders and content libraries that allow the team to quickly locate, review and use assets.
- Review large volumes of content and make thoughtful initial selections for consideration by the Senior Manager of Content and Corporate Communications leadership.
- Prepare content and materials for review, incorporating feedback and routing work through the Senior Manager of Content, Vice President of Corporate Communications and Chief Communications Officer.
- Draft and edit social copy, newsletter content, website updates and executive content in a consistent corporate voice.
- Track deliverables, approvals, publishing dates and outstanding needs across multiple concurrent initiatives, channels and events.
- Maintain a consistent flow of communication with team leaders, flagging priorities, risks and missing information early and providing clear status updates.
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to source information and assets and ensure content is accurate, timely and ready for publication.
- Support real-time content needs surrounding company announcements, executive moments, industry events and portfolio milestones.
- Monitor owned-channel performance and relevant platform trends, helping identify opportunities to strengthen content planning and engagement.
Qualifications
- One to two years of experience in corporate communications, social media, editorial, content marketing or a related field, including relevant internship experience.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills, with close attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft concise, polished content for different channels and audiences.
- Sound editorial judgment and the ability to review, organize and select from large volumes of content.
- Working knowledge of major social platforms, particularly Instagram and LinkedIn, and an understanding of how content should be adapted by channel.
- Comfort working through a multi-level review and approval process while keeping projects moving.
- Ability to work collaboratively with manager support and independently within clearly defined responsibilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and shared file-management and collaboration tools. Familiarity with content-management, social publishing or email-marketing platforms is a plus.
What Success Looks Like
- Content calendars are current, comprehensive and aligned across channels.
- Assets and project files are consistently organized, easy to navigate and ready for review.
- Leaders have clear visibility into priorities, approvals, deadlines and potential issues.
- Content moves efficiently from initial curation through review and publication without sacrificing accuracy or quality.
- The coordinator understands their role in each project, follows through on commitments and proactively identifies the next step.
