
Director of Brokerage Partnerships
Authentic helps insurance brokers create better insurance products for their clients. We provide the technology platform and behind-the-scenes support that lets brokers build custom insurance solutions for specific industries or customer groups. Think of us as the operating system that powers these specialized insurance offerings. For brokers, this means they can offer unique products their competitors don't have, earn more money, and spend less time on paperwork and administrative tasks. We handle the complex (technology, compliance, and partnerships with highly-rated insurance carriers), so they can focus on serving their customers and growing their business.
We're looking for a driven Director of Brokerage Partnerships to join our team. This role is a great fit for someone with 4+ years of commercial insurance experience who wants meaningful ownership of revenue, the ability to shape partnerships in a high-growth startup, and the opportunity to be rewarded for strong performance.
What You'll Do
- Execute the end-to-end sales process of launching insurance programs with brokerage partners
- Leverage and expand your network of brokerages to generate new partnership opportunities
- Collaborate with underwriting to structure programs and generate premium growth
- Work with sales associates to maintain strong CRM hygiene, data quality, and sales reporting
- Contribute to go-to-market strategy and help scale Authentic’s distribution partnerships
Who You Are
- 4+ years of experience in commercial insurance
- Strong interest in sales, partnerships, and go-to-market strategy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and comfort operating in a fast-paced startup environment
- High energy, resilience, and a positive attitude when tackling ambitious growth targets
The salary range for this role is $120,000–$160,000 with uncapped performance-based incentives of $100,000+. Successful candidates can expect $250,000+ OTE when targets are achieved.
