Account Executive

OVERVIEW
Our Sales team doesn’t just sell solutions—we drive transformational outcomes. We’re looking for a passionate, results-driven Account Executive who’s excited to build meaningful customer relationships, exceed ambitious revenue goals, and actively contribute to Automox’s rapid growth.

You bring grit, discipline, and a strong work ethic to every deal cycle — never afraid to hunt for new opportunities and put in the work to win.

You’re a pro at selling complex SaaS and IT Security solutions to enterprise customers, ideally representing a challenger brand. You’re no stranger to self-sourcing opportunities, applying MEDDPICC (or MEDDIC) to qualify and score deals, and ensuring customers have a compelling business case for purchase.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Prospect relentlessly to build and maintain a healthy pipeline of new opportunities (AE prospecting alongside SDR and Channel inbound)

  • Drive new business revenue growth across assigned accounts.

  • Own the full sales cycle — from outreach to close — with IT and security stakeholders.

  • Apply the MEDDPICC methodology to rigorously qualify opportunities, build business justification, and score deals for forecast accuracy.

  • Articulate clear, value-based justification for customer purchase decisions, aligning Automox solutions with both technical and business drivers.

  • Deliver compelling, consultative product demos that address specific customer challenges.

  • Collaborate with XDRs, Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure seamless customer experiences.

  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management and forecasting in Salesforce.

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • 3+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience, preferably in IT security or infrastructure software.

  • A strong hunter mentality with grit, persistence, and a proven track record of prospecting and winning new business.

  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC (or similar methodology) and the ability to build justification frameworks that drive customer purchase decisions.

  • Technical aptitude and credibility with IT professionals, CISOs, and senior decision-makers.

  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and proactive in driving pipeline growth and closing business.

  • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation.

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on results.

  • A collaborative, team-first mindset with the drive to help build and grow Automox’s success.

*COMPENSATION

The salary listed reflects base pay for this position. Your total compensation package includes bonus, equity, and benefits. Actual compensation may vary based on direct experience, skills, industry knowledge, and location. Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000

The range listed is the on target earning (OTE) potential. OTE is a mix of base pay and variable pay earned based on meeting sale's goals. In addition to OTE our compensation package includes equity and variety of great benefits. Actual earnings may be less or more depending on a candidate's direct experience, skills, industry knowledge, and location. Details of the OTE split will be shared during the interview process.

Sales OTE range

$90,000 - $110,000 USD

LOCATION

We are a fully distributed company of remote workers with concentrated hubs in Austin, TX, Tampa, FL, and Boulder, CO. We are in the process of establishing small collaboration spaces in these locations to provide opportunities for in-person discussions and team building when needed.
