Security Manager

You'll own the bridge between security vision and execution, partnering closely with Engineering, Product, IT, and other business units to drive meaningful progress on security, compliance, and risk objectives. Your ability to foster strong cross-functional relationships will be just as important as your technical acumen — you'll be a trusted peer to engineering leaders and a credible voice in executive conversations.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN & DRIVE
- Translates high-level departmental strategy into team-level goals, milestones, and execution plans.
- Takes responsibility for the performance, reliability, and culture of the team.
- Anticipates resourcing needs, skill gaps, and operational risks; escalates appropriately.
- Drives continuous improvement across workflows, processes, and operational practices.
- Ensures team deliverables are scoped clearly, prioritized effectively, and completed on time.
- Manages workload, planning, sprint cycles, and backlog health.
- Implements processes that improve quality and predictability of output.
- Supports cross-functional coordination, ensuring stakeholders understand timelines and dependencies.
- Removes roadblocks that impede team progress and ensures issues are escalated appropriately.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- 3+ years of management experience in a security domain
- Experience with incident management
- Compliance experience (especially SOC2)
The salary range listed is the base pay range for this position. In addition, the total compensation package includes bonus, equity and benefits. Actual earnings may be less or more depending on a candidate's direct experience, skills, industry knowledge, and location.
Compensation
$175,000 - $190,000 USD
LOCATION
We are a fully distributed company of remote employees.
