Head of Commercial FP&A AutoProff

Strong analysis matters most when it leads to better decisions. We’re looking for a new colleague who wants to understand what drives our business, challenge our thinking and help us decide where to go next.  

This is a newly created role based at our headquarters in Vejle, with responsibility for FP&A at AutoProff and a seat on our Extended Management Team. You’ll work closely with our entire Management Team, bringing a financial perspective to decisions about customers, pricing, investments and growth.  

About the role 

As our new Senior Business Partner / Head of Commercial FP&A AutoProff you will help the business understand how we’re performing, what’s driving the results and where we should focus our efforts. That means getting into the detail yourself, spotting patterns and asking questions — then bringing clear recommendations to the table. 

You’ll own our budgeting and forecasting processes and develop how we work with performance management. Alongside this, you’ll partner with colleagues across Commercial, Operations, Finance, BI/Data and Product & Tech to assess opportunities and support decisions. 

You’ll report to AutoProff CFO, with a dotted line to Head of Group FP&A at Autonex in Munich. This gives you a broad network within Autonex while keeping your everyday work firmly connected to AutoProff. 

What you’ll be doing 

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Making performance understandable. Connect financial results with operational KPIs, explain what’s driving changes and help the Management Team agree on the next steps.
• Supporting commercial decisions. Work with the business on pricing, customer profitability, commercial models and investment opportunities.
• Owning planning and forecasting. Lead the annual budget and monthly forecasts, bringing colleagues together around realistic assumptions and a clear outlook.
• Keeping plans on track. Follow up on costs, headcount and investments, challenge assumptions and make sure agreed actions are reflected in our plans.
• Bringing clarity to management discussions. Prepare focused reporting and analysis for the Management Team, Group stakeholders and Board reviews.
• Improving how we work with data. Partner with Finance, BI/Data and Tech to automate reporting, reduce manual work and make useful insights more accessible. 

What we’re looking for 

You could come from FP&A, commercial finance, business controlling or consulting. We’re interested in the experience and perspective you bring, and how you use them to help a business move forward. 

We’d like to hear from you if you have: 

• Several years of relevant experience working with financial analysis and business performance in a commercially complex environment.
• Strong financial modelling skills and experience taking ownership of budgets, forecasts and management reporting.
• A commercial mindset and the curiosity to understand how customers, products and operations affect profitability.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders, including the confidence to question assumptions and offer a different perspective.
• Experience with BI and reporting tools, and an interest in making reporting more reliable and less manual.
• Professional fluency in Danish and English. German is a plus.
