Media Sales Analyst (f/m/d)

About the Role 

We're looking for a Media Sales Analyst to join our Media Sales team and play a key role in driving revenue visibility and performance across our international advertising business. This is a highly cross-functional, internal-facing role where you'll work closely with Sales, Campaign Management, Ad Product, and Go-To-Market teams to build and maintain our weekly revenue forecast, deliver actionable insights, and help ensure we hit our revenue targets across direct and programmatic channels. 

This role reports directly to the GM Sales – Media and Finance and is ideal for someone who enjoys turning data into strategic insights that support commercial decision-making. 

 What You’ll Do 

  • Own the creation and ongoing refinement of the weekly international media revenue forecast, consolidating inputs from various revenue streams.
  • Track performance against monthly and quarterly revenue goals, highlighting variances, opportunities, and risks to sales leadership.
  • Translate large and complex data sets into actionable insights to support sales strategies and business planning
  • Conduct deep-dives into revenue by customer, format, channel, or placement to understand performance drivers
  • Translate data into clear, commercial insights that enable sales conversations and drive business impact.
  • Contribute to the optimization of internal reporting tools, processes, and forecasting models.
  • Support quarterly and annual sales planning with clear analytical inputs
  • Deliver ad-hoc analyses and presentations for senior leadership and cross-functional teams 

 What You Bring 

  • 3+ years of experience in digital media, sales operations, or revenue analysis—preferably in a publisher, ad tech, or media agency environment.
  • Strong data skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI 
  • Working knowledge of digital advertising ecosystems, including platforms like Google Ad Manager and programmatic SSPs.
  • Understanding of key media revenue metrics such as CPM, fill rate, sell-through, pacing, and yield.
  • Experience supporting commercial stakeholders, including sales and marketing teams, with data-driven insights.
  • Proactive with strong communication skills and the ability to synthesize and present data clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable managing recurring processes with accuracy and ownership, while remaining agile to jump into ad hoc requests.
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus, but not required)
