What you will do:

  • Drive innovation with real impact 

Be at the forefront of transforming the automotive marketplace by building AI-driven products that reach millions of users. Whether you’re improving personalization, automating decisions, or exploring Generative AI use cases (LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, etc.), your work will directly shape customer experiences and business outcomes. 

  • Work on end-to-end product development 

Take full ownership of your data science products – from data ingestion and model development to deployment and performance monitoring in production. You’ll work autonomously while being supported by a strong tech foundation and a culture of ownership and trust. 

  • Experiment with Generative AI 

Join a team actively exploring the latest developments in GenAI and LLMs. You’ll get to prototype, evaluate, and produce solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible – whether that’s with OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face models, or vector databases.

What you should bring: 

  • Excellent academic background in a quantitative field such as computer science, engineering, economics, etc, a PHD is a plus
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL and specialized ML libraries (e.g. scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) 
  • Solid understanding of the benefits and drawbacks of different ML algorithms incl. knowledge of deep learning models
  • First-hand experience working with relational/no-SQL databases and query technologies (e.g. Postgres, MongoDB, Presto, Hive)
  • Experience building and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, or proficiency with data orchestration tools such as Airflow or AWS Glue
  • First-hand experience working with Docker, AWS services (e.g. S3, EC2, CloudWatch, CloudFormation), and modern CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions
  • First-hand experience in deploying, maintaining, and updating models in production, as well as tracking experiments using tools such as MLflow, Weights & Biases, or Datadog as well as experience in serving ML models via APIs (e.g. Flask, FastAPI)
  • Experience working end-to-end (from ideation to deployment) to deliver production-ready data products
  • Working collaboratively within a Data Science team, including navigating shared codebases, participating in code reviews, and building on others’ work without disrupting existing functionality
  • Experience working with business stakeholders (incl. gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions, and explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience)
  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI / LLM technologies (e.g. OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face, vector databases, prompt engineering) is a strong plus
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills in English to allow effective communication with team members and stakeholders in meetings, presentations and documents
