Lead Product Marketing Manager (B2B) (m/w/d)

As a Lead Product Marketing Manager, you will build and further develop a scalable, consistent, and data-driven B2B product marketing function and act as main point of contact for product marketing for all of our European markets. You own product marketing for AutoScout24’s dealer facing products across Europe, ensuring clear positioning, compelling messaging, and strong market impact. 

Working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Marketing, your focus is on driving best-in-class execution: translating product capabilities into differentiated value propositions and high-impact campaigns that drive awareness, adoption, and commercial success. 

Your responsibilities: 

  • Product positioning & strategy: Develop marketing strategies and market positioning for our B2B products, creating clear and differentiated narratives for our dealer audience. 
  • Campaign management & activation: Plan and execute product marketing campaigns across European markets (Germany, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands and Austria), ensuring consistent and high-impact activation across all relevant touchpoints. 
  • Value proposition & messaging: Translate product features into compelling value propositions and audience-relevant messaging, making complex topics simple, clear, and commercially effective. 
  • Product marketing development: Further develop and mature the product marketing function at AutoScout24 by establishing clear standards, frameworks, and best practices. 
  • Cross-functional collaboration & alignment: Work closely with Product to understand upcoming features, shape their market positioning, and strengthen dealer-facing narratives in close collaboration with Go-to-market and Sales. As a key interface between Product, Marketing, and Sales, you drive alignment and ensure a consistent, high-quality market approach. 
  • Insights & optimization: Partner with Analytics, Sales, and Go-to-market teams to derive customer, market, and performance insights, and use them to continuously refine messaging and campaign effectiveness. 
  • Playbooks & scalability: Build scalable playbooks, messaging frameworks, and guidelines to enable efficient and consistent execution of product marketing across markets. 
  • Testing & performance: Run experiments, measure impact, and continuously optimize activities against business and commercial KPIs. 

 Your profile: 

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in (B2B) product marketing, ideally in digital platforms, marketplaces, SaaS, or automotive-tech environments. 
  • Positioning & storytelling: Strong instinct for positioning and messaging, with the ability to translate complex products into clear customer value. 
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Proven experience working closely with Product, Sales, and multiple Marketing functions. 
  • Data, tools & AI: Data-driven and KPI-focused, with experience in analytics and performance tracking (e.g. Google Analytics). Comfortable using tools like Figma for collaboration with Product and Design, and AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) to enhance marketing effectiveness and efficiency. Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CMS tools (e.g. Contentful), and QuickSight is a plus. 
  • Way of working: Structured, independent, and able to operate in an integrated, cross-functional environment. 
  • Communication: Strong communication skills and confidence in working with senior stakeholders. 
  • Languages: Fluent in English; German is a plus.
