Summary of Job
We are expanding our team and looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to support our Fintech businesses (Dealertrack & CMS). This Senior Financial Analyst position is responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial plans/budget, analyzing financial and operational data and building financial models.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of financial plans and budget
- Work closely with other members of the finance team and prepare financial information and related analyses to develop annual financial budgets and re-forecasts.
- Financial analysis & Business Partnering
- Analyze financial and operational data, assess trends, and identify risks. Build financial models to help management predict outcomes for business decisions. Work closely with Sales & Marketing, GTM and Pricing to drive value-add for the Fintech business.
- Review financial performance and prepare management reports
- Compare financial performance to target and prepare weekly and monthly reports that enable management teams to be informed and make sound strategic decisions to meet business needs.
- Business Case Development, as required
- Work closely with the Fintech leaders to develop business cases for key strategic initiatives by providing financial advice. This candidate will also assess impact to the P&L and provide updates on risks and opportunities.

Education, Experience and Technical skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance & Accounting (R)
- Experience with ERP systems (P)
- Strong proficiency in Excel (R) and Power BI (A)
- Post-secondary education(R)

- Deadline and timeline driven
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to manage large set of data and distill key highlights to non-finance audience
- Strong data collection and analytical skills
- Quick learner and ability to take ownership of key tasks

The base salary range for this position is CAD 70K – CAD 85K.
This range reflects the expected compensation at the time of posting. The final offer may vary and can be higher based on relevant skills, experience, location, and market conditions. Based on the role the total rewards package may also include benefits, bonus, and other employee offerings.
