What you'll do
We are looking for a Product Manager to join the Activix product area on a six-month contract, with potential to extend as business needs evolve. This role is designed to provide continuity and delivery capacity during employee leaves. You will own a medium-sized product area and/or a complex set of initiatives within Activix, working across a broad range of features and projects. You will define the scope and product approach for your initiatives, connect them to the broader strategy, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes. This is a strong fit for a product manager who can independently turn customer, business, and technical inputs into actionable plans, while seeking direction when priorities or trade-offs require alignment.
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle for a medium-sized product area and/or multiple complex initiatives across Activix, from discovery and definition through launch, measurement, and iteration.
- Define initiative strategy, scope, roadmap priorities, and success metrics, ensuring work fits the broader Activix and AutoSync product strategy.
- Manage a varied portfolio of projects and features, balancing near-term delivery needs with customer value, business impact, dependencies, and technical feasibility.
- Use customer feedback, product data, market context, and stakeholder input to identify opportunities, frame problems, and make informed product trade-offs.
- Translate needs into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and delivery-ready documentation.
- Partner closely with engineering, design, QA, and cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, legal, operations, and support to align stakeholders and move work forward.
- Lead refinement, planning, reviews, demos, launch readiness, and post-launch follow-up; proactively surface risks, dependencies, decisions, and changes in scope.
- Drive experiments, pilots, and iterative improvements where appropriate, using results and learnings to refine the product approach.
- Communicate product plans, progress, decisions, and outcomes clearly to delivery teams and stakeholders; contribute to product reporting and continuous improvement of team practices.
What you'll bring
- 2-4 years of product management experience, ideally in SaaS, e-commerce, marketplaces, or other customer-facing digital products.
- Demonstrated experience owning product features or initiatives from discovery through delivery, with measurable customer or business impact.
- Strong ability to independently dive into customer insights and data, frame solution options, and make practical trade-off decisions.
- Experience defining strategy and scope for a product feature, product area, or complex set of initiatives within a broader product direction.
- Hands-on experience working closely with engineering and design teams in an agile product development environment.
- Hands-on experience using Jira and similar product-management tools to manage backlogs, prioritize work, and communicate delivery progress.
- Confidence translating ambiguity into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans; sound judgment about when to seek input or escalation.
- Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional discussions, keep teams aligned, and track progress across dependencies.
- A customer-focused, analytical, action-oriented mindset and the ability to ramp quickly into an existing product area during a fixed-term engagement.
Nice to Have
- Experience in automotive, automotive retail, dealer technology, or a complex multi-sided platform environment.
- Experience using product analytics and experimentation tools to assess performance, inform prioritization, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Experience coordinating initiatives that involve multiple internal teams, third-party integrations, or operational dependencies.
