About the Role:
At Autura, we’re all about the team and looking for individuals who embody empathy, ambition, and a strong team spirit. As an Accounting Analyst you will be a key point of contact between our shared service partners, internal partners, and customers. There will be a strong focus on accounts receivable transactions, resolving discrepancies, and assisting with special projects as needed.
- Prepare and distribute monthly invoices to customers/vendors and correspondences and forecast accounts monthly
- Enter information into accounting software and document processes
- Post, verify, and record invoices, customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable
- Draft correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifying delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and resolving open payment issues as well as supporting charge-back activity disputes
- Assist with month end, quarter end, and year end requests for compliance and audit, including working with external third parties
- Complete special projects to support day-to-day operations and long-term goals of the department
- Maintain and update customer data, including contact details
- Provide support and answer inquiries from customers and/or internal teams
- Achieve and maintain departmental standards in both quality and productivity metrics
- Work effectively in a dynamic, hands-on start-up environment.
- Adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting and manage ambiguity with ease.
- Other duties and projects assigned.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- 3+ years’ experience in a staff accountant or general accounting position
- 2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable or a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, billing procedures and collections processes.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Accounting software NetSuite is preferred and proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications is required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

For this role, the base salary range is $60,000 -$70,000. Total compensation also includes a competitive benefits package. A salary offer will be determined by several factors including experience, skill level, education, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all team members pay and compensation programs regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay.
