 About the Role 

At Autura, we’re all about the team and looking for individuals who embody empathy, ambition, and a strong team spirit. Right now, we’re looking for a Vice President of Finance to join our Finance Department. As Vice President of Finance, you will lead the oversight of our financial operations with a strong emphasis on financial planning and analysis. Your expertise will be instrumental in refining financial models, forecasting, and strategic financial planning to drive Autura's growth and operational efficiency. Additionally, you will ensure the integrity and accuracy of our accounting practices, overseeing general accounting functions, compliance, and financial reporting. Your role will also involve enhancing stakeholder relationships through effective communication and management of financial expectations, aligning financial strategy with our broader business objectives. 

What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Ideal for a candidate who is targeting the CFO seat as their next role, offering strategic experience and leadership development. 
  • Provide leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting, and budgeting efforts of the company, fostering a culture of financial awareness and accountability across departments. 
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities to drive forecasting, budgeting, and strategic financial decisions, ensuring alignment with the company's short-term and long-term goals. 
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives, provide insights into business performance 
  • Collaborate with senior executives and board members to present key financial information in a clear, story-driven format, significantly influencing strategic decisions and aligning with company goals. 
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior management and the board on financial modeling, economic forecasting, and competitive financial analysis. 
  • Oversee the efficiency of financial and accounting system processes. Focus on streamlining operations to enhance accuracy, compliance, and financial reporting speed, ensuring our finance department supports the company’s growth and operational demands effectively. 

 About You 

  • 10+ years of professional finance experience with a foundational background in accounting. 
  • 4-6 years of experience in FP&A, banking, or investor relations. 
  • 2+ years of proven leadership in guiding and developing finance teams. 
  • Proven track record in strategic financial planning and analysis with the ability to influence company-wide strategy. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with impeccable business judgment. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of an organization and forge strong relationships with external stakeholders.

For this role, the base salary range is $175,000 - $235,000 plus incentive compensation. Total compensation also includes a competitive benefits package. A salary offer will be determined by several factors including experience, skill level, education, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
