Job Overview:

As a Fractional Growth Marketing Lead, you will work closely with our private equity clients and their portfolio companies to develop and implement innovative digital performance marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition and enhance their market position. You will leverage your extensive marketing expertise to address key challenges faced by private equity firms, including increased competition, evolving consumer behavior, and the need for rapid value creation in portfolio companies. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in digital marketing leadership, particularly within the private equity, DTC, and e-commerce space.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Digital Marketing Strategies:
    • Create and execute comprehensive digital performance marketing plans.
    • Optimize digital marketing channels for customer acquisition and lead generation.
    • Implement content marketing and social media strategies to increase visibility.
    • Develop compelling brand narratives and value propositions.
  2. Drive Customer Acquisition and Growth:
    • Utilize data-driven marketing analytics to track KPIs and ROI.
    • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform strategies.
    • Implement growth-oriented marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement and acquisition.
    • Leverage SEO, SEM, email marketing, and paid advertising to maximize reach and conversion.
  3. Support Due Diligence and Deal Assessment:
    • Conduct marketing due diligence on target companies.
    • Evaluate the digital marketing capabilities and potential of acquisition targets.
    • Identify growth opportunities and potential risks from a marketing perspective.
  4. Lead Technology and Digital Transformation:
    • Leverage AI, data analytics, and automation to enhance marketing effectiveness.
    • Implement martech solutions to improve efficiency and scalability.
    • Drive digital-first strategies across portfolio companies.
  5. Bridge Expertise Gaps:
    • Provide executive-level marketing leadership in partnership with the CEO or CMO.
    • Offer specialized expertise in digital performance marketing and customer acquisition.
    • Staff and train a team to run the performance marketing group, ensuring a seamless transition prior to the end of the project.
    • Assist in the evaluation, selection, and onboarding of a permanent CMO/Growth Leader that will carry on after your project ends

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a CMO or senior marketing leader, preferably within the private equity space.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing private equity firms.
  • Expertise in developing and executing digital performance marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in SEO, SEM, email marketing, and paid advertising.
  • Experience in data-driven marketing analytics and KPI tracking.
  • Ability to adapt marketing strategies to economic conditions and uncertainties.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working efficiently in a remote-first environment.

Aux Insights is committed to providing pay transparency in accordance with applicable state and local regulations. For this position, the anticipated base salary range is $225,000 to $275,000 annually. Contract-based candidates will also be considered. Compensation within this range will depend on several factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

In addition to base salary, this full time position is eligible for performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans.  Actual compensation may vary based on factors specific to the candidate’s qualifications and market conditions.
