WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Work on our state-of-the-art compaction-less database, Firewood, in rust.
  • Be a primary contributor to our optimized storage engine that is optimized for our distributed ledger
  • Assist the team in readying Firewood (Alpha testing) for production
  • Assist the team with integrating our existing projects with Firewood

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Demonstrated capability in the software performance area (open source code or published work is a bonus)
  • Knowledge of data serialization formats for efficient storage
  • Understanding of distributed ledger fundamentals and understanding of state synchronizations is a plus
  • Experience in concurrency control and optimization
  • Deep understanding of data structures and their performance tradeoffs
  • Rust experience in a production role or a strong desire to learn rust

 

Salary Range: $190,400 to $238,000

(**This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.)
