WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Location Commitment:

  • Willingness to relocate to or currently residing in the Cayman Islands.

Experience:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in trading or investment management, with exposure to both TradFi (traditional finance) and DeFi.

  • Hands-on experience with blockchain technology and active usage of various DeFi protocols.

Analytical Mindset:

  • Ability to synthesize large datasets, identify actionable insights, and adapt to rapidly changing market conditions.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to transparency, integrity, and risk management.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills to thrive in a fast-paced, globally distributed team.

WHAT SETS THIS ROLE APART

This is not a high-frequency trading role. Instead, the position offers a unique balance between:

  • The strategic complexity of traditional portfolio management and
  • The fast-evolving world of on-chain asset management and algorithmic trading.

As part of the Avalanche Foundation, you will contribute to a cutting-edge blockchain ecosystem while managing one of the largest and most innovative treasuries in the crypto industry.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
