Experience / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years’ experience in real estate, acquisitions, institutional sales, trading, accounting, consulting, risk management, financial reporting or investment banking
  • Exemplary Excel skills (strong modeling capabilities) with proven success incorporating analytics into decisioning
  • Experience or interest in client-facing communications
  • Flexibility to be both tactical and strategic depending on the situation
  • Eagerness and conviction to develop solutions, and follow-through to execute on them
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and quick learner
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, with persistent attention to detail
  • Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, and analytical skills in a dynamic environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Job Description

  • Work with Prospecting and Capital Markets teams to deepen the Company’s bench of capital partners and improve upon the Company’s product offering
  • Prospecting and educating new investors, using Avenue One’s robust network of leads and relationships
  • Scale and harden core products while maintaining engagement and connectivity
  • Work alongside the Acquisitions team to evaluate investment opportunities and formulate investment strategy around what, where and when to buy assets
  • Assist our capital partners in delivering an efficient portfolio that matches their investment strategy
  • Identify, attract and onboard new capital partners
  • Engage with prospects to understand their investment goals, financial situation, and risk tolerance, and provide tailored recommendations based on their unique needs
  • Educate and inform potential investors about the benefits and risks of investing in single-family rentals, providing insights on market trends, rental income potential, property management considerations, and financing options.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential investors, demonstrating a deep understanding of their investment objectives and maintaining regular communication to address their questions and concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, property management, Sourcing and Trading , to provide comprehensive and accurate information to potential investors and facilitate a seamless transition from prospecting to investment.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and market conditions to enhance sales strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Educate and advise clients on investment strategies.
  • Support ad-hoc client requests related to portfolio management, capital deployment & current SFR strategy
  • Model returns for potential investment opportunities and asset management strategies 
  • Support reporting, analytics, and day-to-day operations of client financing strategies (i.e. securitization and revolving debt facilities)
  • Lead the charge on investor reporting, starting with data integrity and ending with polished reports
  • Prepare error-free client marketing & strategy materials with an eye for external business presentation

Salary Range 

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $170,000-200,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
