The Campus Executive Director is the senior-most leader on campus, responsible for total campus performance—including revenue generation, P&L management, accreditation compliance, academic quality, enrollment and student outcomes, and operational execution. This role requires a seasoned executive with deep experience in private, for-profit, career-focused, or trade/technical education and a proven ability to drive results through people, process, and strategy. What This Role Is A high-impact executive leadership position overseeing all major campus functions—Admissions, Academics, Student Services, Operations, and Compliance. You will set direction, develop leaders, and ensure the campus achieves its financial, operational, and student-success goals. Position Purpose      The Aircraft Mechanic Instructor is responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive instruction in assigned courses, ensuring that students grasp both theoretical concepts and practical applications in aircraft maintenance. In addition to teaching, the instructor manages essential administrative tasks, such as maintaining records, assessing student performance, and collaborating with faculty to enhance the curriculum. This role is pivotal in fostering a supportive learning environment that promotes student success and prepares them for careers in the aviation industry.   Key Duties Provide engaging and effective teaching in aircraft maintenance principles while developing curricula that aligns with industry standards. Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and offers individualized support to enhance student success. Oversee administrative responsibilities, including maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. This position ensures that the aircraft maintenance training program effectively prepares students for careers in aviation, aligning with industry standards and contributing to the overall success of the institution.   Job Responsibilities      Teach classes on a scheduled basis, creating an inclusive and welcoming environment that fosters student engagement and enhances learning in aircraft maintenance. Collaborate with the Program Coordinator, Campus Director of Education, and Campus Executive Director to develop and refine curriculum, prepare course materials, and schedule classes, ensuring alignment with industry standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom and laboratory environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained for student use. Establish and maintain accurate academic and attendance records for each student, submitting attendance, grades, evaluations, and other documentation as required by institutional procedures. Proactively notify the Supervisor of any current or potential issues that require immediate attention and implement proven retention techniques to support student success. Complete assigned performance-based teacher education modules, participating in classroom observations and instructor evaluations, and responding to student feedback to enhance instructional effectiveness. Attend and/or lead in-service training sessions, faculty meetings, and other mandatory gatherings to ensure ongoing professional development and collaboration with peers. Assist in managing the inventory of department equipment and supplies, submitting replenishment requests to the Supervisor or appropriate personnel as needed. Monitor student attendance closely, alerting the Supervisor to any absences, particularly at the first, third, and fifth occurrences, to address potential retention issues. Complete other tasks and projects as assigned by the Supervisor, contributing to the overall success of the aircraft maintenance program. Required Qualifications     FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate Minimum three (3) years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance (special considerations will be given for more diverse experience) High School Diploma or GED Strong command of both theoretical and practical aspects of aircraft maintenance, with contemporary knowledge and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven, and compliance-oriented educational setting. Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized, with the capability to multitask and perform well under pressure. Demonstrate a high level of integrity, a strong work ethic, and professionalism in all interactions. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on customer service in an educational context. Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, exhibiting exceptional interpersonal skills. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams. Willingness to work outside of regular shifts, including evenings and weekends, as necessary or requested by the Supervisor. Position Purpose   The Director of Education is responsible for communicating with the corporate office to ensure that all instruction and faculty training is conducted in accordance with Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), respective state departments of education, FAA, and other official regulatory agency guidelines related to education. This position is primarily accountable for the educational integrity of all educational programs with a focus on curriculum, instructor development, and instructional resources and institutional improvement. Key Duties Serve as the liaison between the campus and the corporate program directors who manage education Audit all school curricula to ensure that instructors are using the most current syllabi, lesson plans, and textbooks as indicated on the intranet site Audit and report upon, at least semi-annually, instructor performance Campus Director of Education (AIM) Conduct classroom observations; substitute as instructor, as needed Create, monitor, and update Faculty Personnel Report (FPR) for each instructor Facilitate initial instructor training by ACCSC standards Facilitate ongoing instructor development with educational personnel Chair all Program Coordinator meetings and ensure completeness of minutes is reviewed and that a copy of all meeting minutes is maintained at the school Assist with the organization and facilitation of all Program Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings and ensure completeness of minutes is reviewed, that a copy of all minutes is maintained at the school, and that a copy of forwarded to the appropriate corporate program director and the school’s Regional Director Perform and complete other tasks that may be assigned by Supervisor Required Qualifications  Associate’s degree FAA A&P - Must have  5+ years of management experience or proven leadership in a relevant role, demonstrating a track record of effectively guiding teams, driving performance, and achieving organizational goals. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach. Demonstrated expertise in resolving conflicts, fostering positive workplace relationships, and collaborating effectively within teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a knack for building rapport and maintaining professional relationships. Capable individual contributor with effective leadership skills; adept at balancing diplomacy and assertiveness to guide teams and manage diverse situations. Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and communications. Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required to meet organizational needs and support operational demands.
