Assistant Manager

Overview 

The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in driving store performance, team development, and operational excellence. This role oversees daily operations, motivates staff, and ensures a high level of customer service to achieve company goals in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support Store Manager in achieving sales goals and business objectives
  • Uphold visual merchandising standards and support promotional initiatives
  • Train and coach staff on sales techniques, product knowledge, and service standards
  • Manage inventory, including counts and control procedures
  • Enforce safety, security, and company policies
  • Supervise team performance, provide feedback, and maintain operational consistency
  • Support omni-channel sales and fulfillment
  • Assist with store events, sales, and daily operations
  • Serve as backup to Store Manager and handle administrative tasks as needed

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an  employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

  • Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, climb, walk, and stand for long durations of time
  • Ability to move and lift equipment and supplies of up to 30 pounds
  • Vision abilities include close, distance, color peripheral, and depth perception
  • Noise level in the work environment is moderate
