Retail Store Manager

Overview 

The Store Manager is a dynamic leader responsible for driving profitability, overseeing operations, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. They manage performance, staffing, training, payroll, and building maintenance while developing strategies to meet sales goals. Through mentorship and team development, they foster strong retail skills and ensure outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead and manage all store staff, ensuring accountability and high performance
  • Set and achieve sales goals through planning and team engagement
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations for employees
  • Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, of staff
  • Manage employee issues and grievances
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues
  • Analyze sales data to develop business strategies and report KPIs
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage stock counts
  • Partner with Inventory Manager and Assistant Manager to maintain store presentation
  • Support omni-channel sales and fulfillment processes
  • Organize store events to boost sales and community presence
  • Ensure daily operations, restocks, and store standards are consistently met

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions 

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an  employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

  • Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, climb, walk, and stand for long durations of time
  • Ability to move and lift equipment and supplies of up to 20 pounds
  • Vision abilities include close, distance, color peripheral, and depth perception
  • Noise level in the work environment is moderate

Salary Range – California

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Aviator Nation includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. In addition, where a candidate falls within the disclosed range estimate may be dependent on the applicable geographic differential associated with the location in which the position may be filled. 

Starting at $30/hr (DOE)

Eligible employees may also participate in an employee benefits program as well as an incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
