Senior Director of Supplier Growth - Inside Sales
Role Overview
The Avid supplier base boasts over 1M suppliers and is a key constituent of the Avid Network. AvidXchange aims to elevate the value proposition to Suppliers as part of their network membership and the Supplier Growth Team focuses efforts on growing that relationship through a variety of service and product offerings from services to optimize their business needs to utilizing electronic payment programs. The Senior Director of Supplier Growth - Inside Sales is a highly unique position where the individual will be responsible for achieving individual, team and organizational goals by leveraging sales strategies within an operational service function. They will also be a critical leader to the Supplier and Avid network growth strategy, leading new market strategy creation and driving execution of a growing product suite to achieve corporate objectives. Ideal candidates should possess a solid business-to-business application sales, operational, and management history.
This role is required to sit onsite in our Uptown Charlotte, NC HQ office (Hybrid - Tues, Weds, Thurs).
What you'll do
- Lead a large team focused on providing game-changing solutions, supplier education, performing accurate data collection, and driving conversion to electronic programs
- Converse with C-level executives within high growth companies on a daily basis.
- Drive operational excellence through strong pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and leveraging data to recognize trends and improve business across all areas
- Influence and Collaborate with the Avid Exec team to Design & execute various market strategies achieving daily, monthly, and quarterly deadlines while driving a positive and fun atmosphere!
- Collaborate to define the right set of operational, business and company metrics to elevate the role of the supplier within the AvidNetwork
- Operate cross functionally to drive enhancements to drive scalability, improve business practices, increase the quality of our customer service, and promote electronic conversion
- Actively input and maintain supplier data in our CRM and be willing to perform outbound cold calling as need to meet daily goals/volume – Win as a Team!
- Provide a professional, informative and personable supplier experience for buyers, suppliers
- Professionally represent AvidXchange and its offerings by creating supplier excitement

- Recruit, hire, and develop talent
What we're looking for
- Must have at least 5 or more years of sales leadership experience
- Must have 10 or more years of proven success in a quota carrying, sales role
- Must have experience leading sales teams of at least 30 or more sales reps in a contact center environment, 50+ preferred
- Experience closing complex sales cycles utilizing a customer service oriented consultative strategy
- Proven leadership, mentorship and coaching skills. Be exceptionally passionate about growing leaders and helping others succeed
- Proven track record of leading a team to meeting assigned targets/ quotas/ goals
- Proven experience designing compensation package structures that drive performance and new vertical strategies that support rapid company growth
- Ability to creatively build, design, and execute customer service / program adoption strategies that drive performance, boost morale, and create financial results for the organization
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and minimum 10+ years prior relevant experience
