Manager, Revenue Systems  

Our Revenue team needs a powerful supporting application infrastructure to continue our growth trajectory. As the Manager of Revenue Systems, you will be expected to own strategic project initiatives as part of a broader Revenue Operations roadmap. Your focus will be AvidXchange’s Revenue System tech stack with Marketo and Salesforce at the core. This also includes a network of over a dozen 3rd-party integrated applications. Reporting to the Senior Director of Revenue Systems & Process, you will collaborate with stakeholders in developing a world class system architecture in support of the Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Business Development teams. The ideal systems manager delivers solutions that balance business needs and system scalability.  This entails gathering stakeholder requirements, challenging the business status quo, and working collaboratively to deliver a best-in-class solution in a timely fashion. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the systems resources within the broader team, partnering regularly with Service Design, RevOps and Marketing Operations teams 
  • Identify, scope and lead strategic projects with a mind towards optimizing our revenue pipeline. The ideal candidate will use a consultative approach to execute on problem areas quickly and effectively. 
  • Engage directly with marketing and revenue team stakeholders to conceptualize and develop functionality that aligns business processes with available system functionality 
  • Design, configure, and administer Marketo in partnership with Marketing Ops to ensure optimum, best-practice usage including security models, data governance and workflow automation 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the intersection of Marketing and Sales tools, managing data, business logic and workflow automation 
  • Align and prioritize technical efforts in conjunction with Revenue team leadership to ensure go-to-market initiatives are executed in a timely fashion 
  • Work proactively to remove any legacy technical debt and document replacement solutions  
  • Enforce AvidXchange best practices with regard to system maintenance, configuration, development, testing, data integrity, etc. 

What you bring: 

  • Experience with Marketing automation systems (Marketo, Hubspot, etc.) and related top-of-funnel applications (Marketo Certification a plus!) 
  • Skilled in iPaaS tools and process automation (Workato, Tray.io, Census, etc.) 
  • Experience working on or with Revenue Operations teams, driving initiatives forward that bridge technical resources and business context 
  • 6+ years of business analysis and technology administration in a high-growth technology company 
  • Player/coach mentality to operate independently on projects when needed while communicating the plan of attack to team members 
  • Experience owning projects from the requirements gathering stage to delivery. Technical acumen and a consultant mindset are of equal importance 
  • Preferred experience with Agile Methodology and application lifecycle management 
  • Familiarity with Salesforce administration, CPQ or Advanced Approvals features a plus! 
  • Experience with LeanData, Workato, Zoominfo, Crossbeam and Salesforce Communities is a plus!
