Senior Product Manager - Data & Analytics

Role Overview

As a Senior Product Manager at AvidXchange, you will embody the full-stack product management philosophy, leading strategic initiatives and applying a systems-thinking approach to deliver seamless experiences for external analytics products. This role extends AvidXchange’s commitment to product excellence by owning the end-to-end product management strategy for solutions such as embedded BI, data extracts, and other advanced analytics offerings. You will navigate complex market dynamics, prioritize customer needs, and drive industry-leading innovation. Championing data as a strategic asset, you will enable actionable insights that empower customers and stakeholders, guiding products from ideation through launch and continuous improvement. As a catalyst for change, you will mentor peers, set new benchmarks, and elevate our product culture through cutting-edge solutions that unlock the full value of data.

What You’ll Do 

  • Drive the end-to-end product management strategy for a suite of analytics solutions, including embedded BI, data integrations, and specialized analytics services. Establish long-term objectives and ensure alignment with market demands and external customer needs. 

  • Lead the entire product lifecycle from ideation through launch and beyond, developing and maintaining detailed roadmaps, prioritizing features, and steering development efforts to deliver impactful analytics products that exceed customer expectations. 

  • Shape the strategic vision by leveraging deep customer and market insights to position analytics solutions as leaders in solving external customer challenges and achieving competitive advantages. 

  • Foster continuous improvement by measuring and optimizing key product metrics such as user engagement, adoption, and retention, ensuring data-driven decisions guide product evolution and drive business growth. 

  • Ensure alignment of product performance metrics with overall business objectives, evaluating the impact of analytics initiatives and iterating strategies based on customer feedback and changing market conditions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success—to ensure cohesive execution, gain support for new initiatives, and achieve successful delivery of product initiatives. 

  • Translate customer needs into actionable product features and enhancements, creating a clear roadmap that addresses market demands and ensures the analytics products deliver measurable value to B2B customers. 

  • Leverage advanced analytics and emerging technologies to drive innovation, enhance product capabilities, and introduce automation that optimizes the customer experience and supports scalable growth. 
     

What We're Looking For 
 

  • Experience: 5 or more years in product management with a proven track record of leading product teams and driving product strategy across data and analytics products. 

  • Experience managing data-driven solutions such as business intelligence tools, data integration, or reporting platforms, with organization-wide impact. 

  • Skilled in designing solutions that include APIs, data extracts, and embedded analytics, demonstrating a strong understanding of integration strategies and user needs. 

  • Expertise in driving a strategic segment of the analytics product portfolio, positioning offerings for market differentiation and competitive advantage. 

  • Familiarity with B2B use cases, including data sharing, embedded BI, and self-service analytics, tailored to external customers. 

  • Deep knowledge of data governance, privacy standards, and regulatory requirements in the context of data management and analytics. 

  • Demonstrated success in collaborating across teams to develop data-driven products that support business goals and elevate the customer experience. 

  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making. 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, balancing strategic initiatives with execution excellence. 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Additional certifications in Product Management, data analytics, or leadership can be advantageous.
