Finance Business Partner
Job Overview:
Join AvidXchange as a Finance Business Partner II where your expertise in credit financing, and 3-statement financial modeling will be the cornerstone of strategic decision-making. In this capacity, you’ll collaborate directly with cross-functional teams to build and refine comprehensive financial models that integrate income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasts for AvidXchange’s credit products. Your insights will empower operational leaders and executive decision-makers to optimize supplier credit financing and product strategies; structure pricing; and manage operational expenses. By transforming complex data into clear, actionable financial narratives, you’ll drive process improvements and support long-term strategic growth. What you'll do:
- Build and manage driver-based financial models driving key product profitability metrics
- Support budgeting and annual planning cycles, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
- Lead monthly financial reviews and monitor performance analytics for Operational Teams
- Create executive profitability reporting, including presentations and data storytelling
- Integrate key performance indicators into our financial systems to support driver-based modeling across the FP&A across the organization.
- Develop / manage financial models related to Credit Products for AvidXchange
What we're looking for:
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in FP&A, Banking / SaaS / Lending or Credit experience
- Modeling Expertise: Proven track record building complete P&L and 3-statement models
- Communication: Strong ability to synthesize and present complex financial insights to all levels, including executives
- Technology Proficiency: Hands-on experience with tools such as Adaptive Insights (preferred), Anaplan, Workday, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL
- Business Acumen: Strategic thinker with deep understanding of financial drivers and planning best practices
- Personality Traits: Intellectually curious, detail-oriented, results-driven, and comfortable delivering under pressure
