Role 
As Director of Marketing and Communications at Avnos, you will lead our comprehensive communications strategy, overseeing both external and internal messaging to strengthen our brand presence, support executive visibility, and drive stakeholder engagement. Reporting to the CEO, you will serve as a strategic advisor to leadership while building and executing integrated communications programs that advance business objectives, foster meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, and position our organization as a thought leader in our industry. This role requires a seasoned professional who excels at crafting compelling narratives, managing media relationships, and orchestrating cohesive messaging across multiple channels and audiences.  

You will: 

  • Drive strategic storytelling and lead media and thought leadership initiatives to elevate executive visibility and influence across top-tier publications and high-profile industry events.   
  • Create and execute external affairs strategies that drive business growth, including long-term thought leadership plans, unique narrative development, and insight reports that highlight industry expertise.  
  • Lead internal communications and change management campaigns that align global teams, drive employee engagement, and maintain consistent messaging during organizational transitions.  
  • Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed, hybrid environment to ensure consistent, impactful messaging across all channels and audiences.  
  • Develop and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing and communications efforts.  
  • Oversee the development of all marketing collateral including brochures, presentations, digital assets, and promotional materials that effectively communicate our value proposition.  
  • Lead digital marketing strategy, including website, SEO and social media to drive engagement, lead generation, and brand visibility.  
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of brand guidelines, visual identity standards, and design templates to ensure consistent representation across all marketing touchpoints.  
  • Direct the design and production of compelling visual content that enhances brand storytelling and supports marketing objectives across platforms.  
  • Manage the evolution of brand identity elements to keep pace with organizational growth while maintaining brand recognition and integrity.  
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and contractors to ensure alignment with overall communications strategy.  
  • Develop strategies for engaging external stakeholders, including partners, investors, customers, and community leaders, to build goodwill and extend brand reach. 

You have: 

  • 8+ years of progressive communications or marketing leadership experience, with demonstrated success in brand strategy, media relations, and executive communications.  
  • Proven track record of securing top-tier media and building executive thought leadership platforms.  
  • Experience leading communications for organizations during periods of significant growth, market entry, or transformation.  
  • Strong background in cross-functional collaboration and matrix organizational structures, with exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Salary: For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $175,000 - $230,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The range listed above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified. In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity and benefits. The final compensation package will be determined based on the selected candidate's skills and experience.
