About the Role
The Global HR Director will serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, driving people and culture strategies across all international locations. This role is responsible for leading all global HR functions, including organizational design, talent management, employee engagement, compliance, and leadership development. You will be a key advisor to the CEO and play a pivotal role in building scalable people practices and fostering a high-performance culture.
What You'll Do
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a global HR strategy aligned with Avride’s business goals and culture.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor HR teams across regions, ensuring consistency in practices while honoring local cultures and regulations.
- Talent & Workforce Planning: Oversee global workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Employee Engagement & Culture: Champion initiatives that promote employee engagement, diversity, inclusion, and a strong organizational culture.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure legal compliance with employment laws in all countries of operation; manage audits and HR-related risk.
- Total Rewards & Benefits: Oversee global compensation strategy, benefits programs, and equity plans.
- Change Management: Lead HR initiatives that support business transformation, organizational restructuring, and M&A integration.
- HR Systems & Analytics: Utilize data-driven insights to drive HR decisions and improve workforce outcomes.
What You'll Need
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a global role.
- Proven success in scaling HR in a fast-paced, high-growth technology or engineering-driven environment.
- Deep understanding of international labor laws, global employment practices, and mobility programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with HRIS platforms and data analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD, GPHR) is a plus.
