
AdOps Specialist (f/m/d)
Purpose of Position
Marketing AdOps Specialists provide operational support to Client Services (CS) teams and are focused on supporting the delivery of our service packages. It is an entry-level position that provides an ideal first step into the affiliate marketing industry. Ad Ops Specialists work across a wide range of sectors and industries by leveraging our award-winning Awin network.
An ideal first step into the industry, the role will help you understand what goes into creating a leading affiliate programme and how Awin helps facilitate that. Awinners will have the opportunity to apply for other departmental roles within the business (if experience, suitability, skillset and location requirements are met).
Key Tasks
Work alongside the CS team to provide support to some of the network's largest clients in line with some of the following tasks:
- Upload offers and creatives to advertiser programs and assist with communicating details to publisher partners.
- Assist with producing regular reports, extracting, and manipulating data for interpretation by CS teams.
- Produce gap analysis reports and recruit affiliates onto programs in collaboration with account management and publisher teams.
- Perform program audits and monitor affiliate performance to ensure network compliance.
- Conduct ad-hoc account health checks, competitor benchmarking, and other requests.
- Take a proactive approach with assigned projects and cases, escalating issues to the appropriate team member/level when necessary.
- Setting up new collaborations between the publisher and the advertiser, reviewing publisher invitations to the advertiser’s program
- Processing sales validation, booking in bonuses, or tenancy in the Awin system to ensure correct payment for generated sales
You will be working with the Salesforce system to manage AM's requests for different world-leading brands
Skills & Expertise
- Fluent in English – you will need to communicate with internal staff and external clients on a daily basis, so written and oral English fluency is a necessity
- Able to prioritise workload and meet multiple client deadlines
- Willing to help peers and pick up additional tasks to share the workload
- Show impeccable attention to detail for internal and external-facing work
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to improving efficiencies and quality of work
- Take charge of individual responsibilities and arrange appropriate cover for time off
- Once settled, be approachable and help train more junior members of staff in the company
- Experience with Microsoft Office, like Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Experience with Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, and Asana is a plus, not a must
- Affinity with online (affiliate) marketing
- Eagerness to learn and be resourceful in trying it yourself first, taking on a challenge, and putting yourself out there
- You are data savvy – like to create reporting, finding explanations, and new opportunities – everything to build an even better performance business
