- Defining visual and interaction design principles that align with our product strategy and brand
- Partnering with Product, UX and Engineering to shape features from discovery through to implementation, ensuring a consistent and delightful user experience
- Leading the creation of high-fidelity designs and prototypes that push the boundaries of usability and aesthetics
- Championing accessibility and inclusive design in every interface decision
- Driving the evolution of our design system, ensuring scalability, consistency, and adoption across teams
- Leading a team of Product Designers: providing line management, coaching, regular feedback, and clear development pathways
- Facilitating workshops and design reviews and critiques, confidently guiding discussions to strong, insight-led outcomes
- Helping define success metrics and validating design impact through user feedback and analytics
- Creating and delivering design presentations, emphasising rationale through storytelling to stakeholders
Skills and expertise:
- Strong experience as a Lead or Senior Product Designer, with a portfolio that demonstrates exceptional interface design across web platforms
- Deep knowledge of UI design principles, interaction design, layout, typography, and responsive design
- Excellent visual storytelling skills - able to communicate concepts clearly through design
- Experience working with and evolving complex design systems at scale
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, with the ability to balance design quality, user needs and technical feasibility
- Proficiency in Figma and other modern design and prototyping tools
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and how to embed inclusive design into every solution
- Ability to mentor and inspire others, raising the bar for visual quality across the team
- Comfort working in agile environments and advocating for design in fast-paced delivery settings
- Bonus: experience in motion design, branding, or micro-interactions
