About the Role
As a Retention & Growth Manager, you will play a key role in our commercial transformation by leading contract renegotiations with existing clients. Your mission: ensure client retention and drive portfolio growth through upselling, cross-selling, and offer optimization.
You will manage contract migrations and commercial negotiations with clients at the local market level, working closely with multiple internal teams (Legal, Finance, InfoSec, Technical, and Client Services). Your goal: ensure successful renegotiations that align with our strategic objectives.
Key Tasks
- Draft, review and finalise different types of contracts (renewals, upgrades, downgrades, NDAs, third-party agreements, etc.).
- Negotiate directly with clients to reach fair and strategic agreements that align with our commercial goals (ARR & GP).
- Track your own performance and report regularly on your progress across assigned accounts.
- Work closely with Client Services to assess risks and identify opportunities for R&G
- Collaborate regularly with other R&G Managers to share insights and align processes.
- Lead or support responses to RFPs
- Handle contract-related queries such as data protection agreements (DPAs), security audits, or voucher agreements.
- Liaise with Legal for any custom clauses or exceptions, helping reduce company risk
- Ensure compliance with Finance policies, including pricing, revenue recognition, and discount rules.
- Contribute to improving our contract and negotiation processes and help define internal best practices.
- Provide clear updates and maintain accurate documentation for all contracts and negotiations.
What We’re Looking For
- Solid experience in affiliate marketing or digital performance marketing, ideally in a client-facing role
- Strong understanding of the local French market and its competitive landscape
- Familiarity with MarTech platforms and performance-based commercial models
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and relationship management skills
- Analytical mindset, business-driven, and comfortable with KPIs and targets
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable working under pressure with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
- Collaborative and willing to contribute to a virtual international team culture
