Purpose of Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations, enabling efficient and seamless software delivery. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, infrastructure, and automation tools.

Join our team and lead the transformation of our software delivery processes. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, drive innovation, and shape our DevOps practices for the future. Together, we will build a robust and scalable software delivery ecosystem to meet the demands of our everchanging environment and customer.

Key Tasks

  • Lead DevOps strategy and implementation: Together with your Engineering Manager and the team, you will define and execute the DevOps strategy, including the selection and integration of appropriate tools, technologies, and processes. Drive the adoption of best practices for CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and deployment orchestration.
  • Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines: Design, build, and enhance robust CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery, including code compilation, testing, packaging, and deployment. Implement efficient strategies for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment.
  • Infrastructure design and management: Architect, deploy, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure using cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Implement infrastructure as code and configuration management practices to ensure consistent and reproducible environments.
  • Automation and tooling: Identify opportunities for automation and implement advanced solutions to streamline software development and deployment processes. Evaluate and integrate advanced tools and technologies to improve efficiency, monitoring, and security.
  • Performance optimization and scalability: Analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization. Work with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability, ensuring high availability and optimal user experience.
  • Security and compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with the security team to conduct security assessments, implement secure configurations, and address vulnerabilities.
  • Mentoring and leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced DevOps team members. Share knowledge, conduct training sessions, and promote a culture of growth, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration and communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, quality assurance specialists, platform teams, and operations teams. Communicate and coordinate deployment activities, timelines, and dependencies with stakeholders.
  • Research and innovation: Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools, and technologies in the DevOps and cloud space. Evaluate and recommend innovative solutions to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
