Purpose of Position

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and motivated individual to play an integral role in the fast paced and rewarding environment of client and team management. If you are enthusiastic about affiliate marketing and a strong team player, this role is a great opportunity to gain team leadership experience, while working with some of the biggest brands on the network in the US.

As a Team Lead, you will provide leadership, guidance, and training to a team of account managers and account executives. In addition, you will oversee the management of a portfolio of top tier clients on our network, while directly providing account management services to between 1 and 5 large brands.

Key Tasks
  • Advertiser Development & Management
    • Assume ownership and serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned clients, providing training, guidance and ongoing support in line with each client’s agreed service level
    • Develop and deliver program strategies, for assigned accounts as well as your direct reports programs, to meet client’s objectives and goals tracking results of these efforts
    • Devise and implement innovative account management tactics that produce competitive and successful affiliate programs
    • Resolve client conflicts in a proactive manner and be the point of contact for escalation when necessary
    • Proactively recruit new affiliates across the portfolio and project manage affiliate migrations in collaboration with clients and publisher team and build a working relationship with top 50 affiliates on network
    • Monitor daily affiliate performance to ensure network compliance
    • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, publishers, vendors and internal teams via email, phone, and face-to-face meetings
    • Work independently to produce all necessary account management documentation and deliver reports on assigned programs
  • Leadership, Collaboration & Team Management
    • Train, consult and guide direct reports on all aspects of successful key account management across Awin’s core values while being a reference point of knowledge and expertise for the wider team
    • Proactively supervise the management of all assigned clients from launch through campaign optimization
    • Develop a deep understanding of all assigned accounts to produce, present and deliver program strategies
    • Actively monitor client performance across team portfolio and ensure performance is in line with targets set for new and existing campaigns
    • Familiarize yourself with industry trends to inform program management, while keeping your client and team informed of relevant information
    • Attend appropriate client and networking events to enhance client and publisher relationship development
    • Assist in producing quarterly program reviews, case studies, best practice guides, white papers or other relevant communication that highlight opportunities and educate all stakeholders on successful campaign concepts and strategies. 

Skills & Expertise

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within the affiliate marketing channel managing enterprise brands
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to be flexible and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Committed to growing programs and providing excellent client service to deliver high levels of client satisfaction to ensure retention
  • Passionate about extracting insights from data and developing program strategies to meet client objectives
  • Experience with forecasting
  • Fast learner with strong team orientation and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Accepts and seeks out ownership while being accountable for own work and work of the team
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, specifically MS Excel, PowerBI, Tableau and willingness to learn new technology systems

Compensation Range: $77k - $87k/annually
