Purpose of Position

As our People & Culture Manager (f/m/d), you will be the go-to person for HR related topics across Germany. In this exciting role, you will help us drive people-related initiatives in collaboration with our global P&C team and ensure high-quality execution throughout the entire employee lifecycle.

You will deliver best-in-class support to our employees and will be acting as their contact point for personnel administration, onboarding, offboarding, benefits, payroll and absence management. As a member of our global P&C team, you will also be closely collaborating with your team members across all locations and implementing global measures on a local level.

This position is a maternity cover reporting directly into the Head of People & Culture Operations and will be limited from 01.12.2026 until 31.05.2028.

Key Tasks

  • You support employees in Germany on a variety of HR-related topics; from the on- and offboarding process to creating and managing employment contracts, from handling employee data within our HRIS (BambooHR) to administering absences, managing payrolls (likely to be Sweden & Spain), visa-related matters and further developing local benefits
  • You support our P&C Operations team on (inter-)national topics and projects
  • You help us ensure that Awin is fully compliant with local legislation and regulations
  • You implement clear, efficient processes when driving change, collaborating with the management and global P&C team
  • You act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding local P&C related topics

Skills & Expertise

  • You have gained work experience in a P&C / HR role, in particular in P&C operations / HR administration, ideally in an international environment
  • You possess a good understanding of German employment and social security legislation
  • You are business fluent in German and English (verbal and written)
  • You have an organised and structured working style; you know how to prioritise topics and handle diverse tasks within a fast-paced environment and while collaborating with a range of stakeholders
  • You are proactive and responsible for your tasks; you identify problems and take care of them swiftly and effectively
  • You have a natural interest in people and thoroughly enjoy working in a people function
