We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation QA Engineer with a strong background in test automation and an AI-first mindset. The ideal candidate will leverage automation frameworks, AI-driven testing practices, and cutting-edge tools like Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate quality assurance cycles. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites, ensuring product reliability and user confidence while collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks, with strong focus on Selenium and AI-driven enhancements.
  • Leverage Claude Code and Cursor to automate test generation, debugging, and intelligent validation processes.
  • Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to identify test scenarios, expand coverage, and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Apply AI-first methodologies to improve test efficiency, reduce flakiness, and proactively identify quality risks.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to defining automation best practices across the organization.
  • Drive the adoption of AI-powered tools and frameworks to modernize QA practices.
  • Ensure compliance with performance, scalability, and usability standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6–8 years of experience in QA with strong focus on automation.
  • Advanced hands-on expertise with Selenium WebDriver and related automation frameworks.
  • Proven experience using Claude Code and/or Cursor for AI-led coding, testing, and debugging.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD environments (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and test integration pipelines.
  • Solid programming/scripting skills in Java for automation development.
  • Experience with REST API automation and validation tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based test environments (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with AI-driven testing platforms and intelligent agents beyond Claude Code/Cursor
  • Ability to define a QA strategy in an AI-first engineering culture

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
  • Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable test deployments.
