We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Executive to join our Finance department. Reporting to the Payroll Financial Accountant, this role will be responsible for managing payroll processes and ensuring compliance with all statutory and reporting obligations. The Payroll Executive will handle regional payrolls, benefits, and leave management, as well as provide month-end support to the Financial Control team.
Your EDGE assignment/You will:
- Prepare and process monthly payrolls for UK and Cyprus offices, including adjustments, new starters, leavers, and one-off payments.
- Provide cover and support for other locations’ payroll processes, such as Australia, Singapore, and Dubai.
- Prepare, submit, and remit all statutory payroll reporting and taxation obligations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Reconcile and substantiate all payroll-related accounts in the general ledger.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the group’s payroll providers for the UK and Cyprus offices.
- Review, maintain, and improve payroll processes, and assist in the implementation of new global payroll or leave management systems.
- Collect, prepare, and analyze payroll-related audit requests from external auditors.
- Manage and process ad hoc payroll requests promptly and accurately.
- Assist Financial Control in reporting activities, including month-end tasks.
- Contribute to other ad hoc assignments and projects as required by the Financial Control team.
Are you the one?
- Previous experience in payroll processing, ideally within a multi-jurisdictional environment.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills with an ability to liaise with external providers and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to review and optimize payroll processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
