The role is to work in the technology department to ensure secure and efficient support and deployment of technology applications running within the Axi environment. The role will act as 1st line of support for Axi’s Production Technology Systems and work across multiple technology teams, promoting best practice, and assure supportability and operability of all applications. Incident management is also required when issues arise.
Your EDGE Assignment/You Will
- Accountable for the support of in-house applications including diagnosis of issues and development of hotfixes, to deliver level 1 & 2 support for both our internal and external systems.
- First line of support for incident response, diagnosis, and escalation
- Comfortable with monitoring and observability systems, ensuring any notifications or alerts are responded to.
- Contributor to process, procedure & support documentation, ensuring alignment to any change or new development
- Contributor to service improvement initiatives for operational excellence and process improvement
- Contributor to developing IT Service Management and DevOps practices into support team
Are you the one?
- Previous coding experience is preferred, especially with technologies such as .Net, Kubernetes, containers, service bus, and SQL servers.
- Hand on experience in Mulesoft is a must.
- 3+ years application support role.
- Good knowledge of supporting and maintaining applications.
- Proficient in using system and application monitoring products (Zabbix, Datadog)
- Proficient in incident management and root cause analysis
- Understanding of Technology Service Management, knowledge of ITIL desirable
- Experience of supporting systems hosted within cloud service providers (Azure or AWS)
- Exposure to DevOps and Agile ways of working would be an advantage
