This role will work closely with the social media team responsible for all social media activities, including content creation, content publishing, localising content and responding to followers across different regions. This role will also be the company’s brand voice on various industry forums and will be replying to customers’ inquiries and reviews and will revolve around translating business goals into actionable strategies to be carried out on social channels.
Your EDGE Assignment/You Will
- Work closely with the Brand Manager & Social Media Strategist to implement and manage the social media strategy in alignment with the overarching content strategy and business objectives.
- Collaborate with copywriters, designers, localisation teams, freelancers and agencies to deliver high quality, engaging, relevant, and timely content across all social media platforms. (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, TikTok)
- Manage the social media calendar, ensuring all content is approved, scheduled, published on time and in line with brand and compliance guidelines.
- Contribute to the ideation, planning, and execution of platform-specific social strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and community growth.
- Conduct ongoing research into social trends, competitor activity, audience behaviours, and emerging platform features to inform strategy and content development.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and technologies, and proactively share insights with the wider team.
- Manage daily community inquiries and comments professionally and promptly on all industry sites, forums, review sites, and social media accounts in coordination with the wider team to ensure consistent coverage.
- Perform other social media-related tasks and support cross-functional requests when required.
Are you the one?
- 1–2 years of experience in social media management or community engagement.
- Background or strong interest in the finance or fintech industry is preferred.
- Excellent written English with the ability to adapt tone depending on context (e.g. responding to client inquiries or addressing critical social media comments professionally).
- Hands-on experience with social media platforms and management tools such as Meta Business Suite, Brandwatch and TikTok is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and tone.
- Comfortable working both independently and cross-functionally.
- Open to learning new tools and workflows.
