We are looking for a hands-on Senior QA Automation Engineer to help scale quality across our trading platforms and related systems. You will design, build, and maintain reliable automated test coverage across web applications, REST APIs, mobile app flows, and selected desktop journeys. This role is best suited for someone who is deeply technical, highly independent, and comfortable owning automation strategy and execution with minimal supervision.

 

Your EDGE Assignment/You Will

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test coverage for critical business flows across web applications, REST APIs, and selected mobile and desktop journeys.
• Own and improve our TypeScript + WebdriverIO automation framework, including architecture, reusable utilities, coding standards, and maintainability.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve reliability, execution speed, reporting, and feedback loops.
• Investigate test failures, reduce flaky tests, and identify whether issues come from product defects, data, environments, or framework gaps.
• Partner with developers, product managers, and QA teammates to review requirements early and identify what should be automated and why.
• Build stable regression, smoke, and high-risk business-critical test coverage for fast-moving releases.
• Contribute to test strategy, risk-based coverage, release readiness, and defect triage.
• Mentor other QA engineers through code reviews, framework guidance, and automation best practices

 

Are you the one?

 

Must Have Skills

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing. 
• Strong hands-on experience using TypeScript and WebdriverIO to build, maintain, and improve automation frameworks.
• Strong hands-on experience testing REST APIs.
• Experience automating web applications, with additional experience in mobile and/or desktop automation.
• Strong experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
• Strong understanding of test design, selectors, waits, test data management, debugging, and flaky test reduction.
• Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and QA peers.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills

 

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of mobile app automation experience.
• Experience in fintech, trading, payments, or e-commerce platforms.
• Experience with cloud device/browser platforms.
• Experience with tools such as Azure Test Plans, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.
